Vascular  plants  possess  vessels  (xylem  and phloem) that transport
   water and nutrients.
   Roots  allow them to extract water from the soil; vascular tissue also
   provide strength to support a larger body.
   Early vascular did not reproduce via seeds and are called seedless.
